ChaiFlicks Statement | Price Changes Effective March 2024

In March of 2020, we launched ChaiFlicks with the mission of bringing the best in Jewish and Israeli entertainment to audiences around the world. Since then, we've added hundreds of films, TV series, and documentaries carefully curated by our team to meet the high standards we hold ourselves to, and that our members expect to see from us here at ChaiFlicks.

We started this year with the same commitment: Adding all-time favorite TV series  Shtisel alongside new seasons of ChaiFlicks hit Wartime Girls, and launching new immersive documentaries Birth of a Conflict and Pollard — all while continuing to add dozens of feature films and feature-length documentaries from around the world on a weekly basis.

Like many companies today, we are working hard to keep costs in line without sacrificing the programming we are able to deliver. In spite of these efforts, the costs to acquire programming and compete with other streaming services has continued to rise. Therefore, we have taken the decision to introduce a price increase as described below: 

‍Effective March 1, 2024, we will be raising the price of our subscription. Current subscribers will NOT be affected by the change — and are eligible to keep their current subscription price for the lifetime of their account. This is just a small token of our appreciation for our members' continued loyalty and support of ChaiFlicks. This new pricing structure will only apply to new accounts created March 1, 2024 onwards.‍

Please note however that if you do cancel your current subscription and subscribe again at a later date, you will be charged at the new price levels, which will be $11.99 per month, or $99.99 per year (USD).

From the ChaiFlicks team, we want to say thank you to all our customers and fans – we would not be in a position to continue our mission to provide the best Jewish and Israeli entertainment if it were not for you. Please keep in mind that much of the money we charge goes back to the wonderful filmmakers and content producers so that they can keep making this great programming.
