One of the largest spying scandals in United States history had to do with none other than Israel. This acclaimed documentary series from Israeli creator Omri Assenheim explores the Pollard Affair which rocked both nations upon its discovery in the 1980s.
The scandal, which centered around former U.S. intelligence officer Jonathan Pollard, is still seen as the most significant upheaval in the history of American-Israeli government relations.
Pollard, a young American Jew with ambitions to save the Jewish State, was convicted of selling closely guarded U.S. secrets and highly classified intelligence material to numerous foreign countries in 1985. He admitted in the ensuing investigation that one of the recipient countries was America’s close ally, Israel.
In its four episodes, Pollard outlines the evolution of the scandal using rare archival materials and first-time interviews with former American FBI agents, Israeli intelligence members and many other high-ranking government officials involved in what came widely to be known as “The Pollard Affair.”

From Israeli production house yes Studios (Fauda, Shtisel), Fire Dance is the first television series from acclaimed Israeli filmmaker Rama Burshtein-Shai (The Wedding Plan, Fill The Void) – the coming-of-age story of a young, troubled woman, in a tight knit ultra-orthodox religious sect.
The series premiered at the prestigious Series Mania Festival in 2022, where lead actor Yehuda Levy took home the Best Actor in a Drama Series Award.
Fire Dance revolves around the story of Feigi, a teenager coming of age in a broken home, without a father figure. She attaches her future happiness to Nathan (top Israeli actor Yehuda Levy), the 35-year-old married son of the leader of the ultra-orthodox community in which they both live. Feigi's feelings and her longing for a relationship with Nathan can never materialize. It is this delicate tension, between passion and fulfillment, set on the backdrop of a conservative, devout community – in which Fire Dance exists.
Shtisel — the Israeli series that became a global phenomenon returns to streaming with ChaiFlicks. Next up: season 2 of the beloved series.

Birth of a Conflict gathers Jewish, Arab, and British experts who try to understand and find consensus for the ultimate question — how and why this bloody conflict started, and thus raising another dilemma: Could the course of history have been different?
